Accessibility Statement

Karavel Shoes is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies. Helping people find shoes that fit has been our business since 1937 — that includes making sure our online store fits everyone too.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we do

  • We audit key pages of our site (home, product listings, product pages, search, and cart) with automated accessibility tools and manual keyboard testing, and we fix what we find in our site's code.
  • We review new features and design changes for accessibility before they ship.
  • We re-test the site after significant updates.

Known limitations

Some parts of our site rely on content or software from third parties (for example, payment and checkout services). Where we find accessibility problems in those services, we report them to the provider and pursue fixes, but we may not be able to correct them directly.
